I put together a list of my favorite conferences. These conferences are especially helpful for internet entrepreneurs and social media marketers.
1. New Media Expo ( NMX )
January 4-6, 2014 – Las Vegas, NV
The New Media Expo is put on every January in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is one of my favorite conferences because it is geared toward marketing online, social media, podcasting, blogging, and running an online business. 2. South by Southwest
March 7-16th, 2014 – Austin, TX
This is a unique conference that combines music, technology, ideas, and business all in one. Check out the scenes down in beautiful Austin Texas and meet and learn from people doing big things!
3. Traffic and Conversion Summit
January 23-25, 2014 – San Diego, CA
Definitely a top conference for Digital Marketers. Learn from the pros all about generating traffic, building your list, increasing affiliate sales, and building online products.
4. The Small Business Summit
New York City – August 2014
The Small Business Summit is a one day event that brings hundreds of entrepreneurs together to learn about topics every entrepreneur will face. The conference is now run by Rick Calvert and the team who brings us the NMX conference in Vegas.
5. World Domination Summit
Portland, Oregon – July 11-13th 2014
The World Domination Summit brings together entrepreneurs and marketers from all over the world. Unfortunately, I had a wedding this past summer and didn't get to attend, but I'm looking forward to flying to Portland for my first conference in 2014! Portland is a beautiful place and you get to meet movers and shakers in the industry.
6. Ted X Conferences
TedX conferences take place all over the world. You'll learn from leaders in many industries who are entrepreneurs, professors, artists, and scientists. I've attended conferences in Bozeman and they've been super inspiring. Check out their site to find a conference near you.
7. Social Media Marketing World
March 26-28, 2014 – San Diego, CA
Learn about internet marketing strategy from top internet entrepreneurs. Guy Kawasaki, Derek Halpern, and many other successful internet marketers attend and share their knowledge. Michael Stelzner puts on this conference.
