Entrepreneur Interview – Think Entrepreneurship interviews Autopilot’s founder Matt McCune

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Matt McCune, founder of Autopilot, Inc. McCune’s company specializes in product design, development, and manufacturing. Autopilot was founded in 2006. They help inventors and businesses take ideas from a simple concept to a finished product ready to sell on the market.

The moment I walked in the Autopilot facility, I noticed how fun, creative, and cool this company is. I was greeted by Matt, who slid down a firepole from the second floor to welcome me to his business. Not sure if it is just me, but any company with a fire pole seems pretty hip to me. Upon meeting Matt, we proceeded into the manufacturing area where they have many large milling machines, parts, and other manufacturing equipment. Everyone I met was so friendly and passionate about what they do at Autopilot.

I’d like to thank Agendize.com for taking the time to do an entrepreneur interview with us. Agendize is a tech company in Montreal, Canada that develops software to help businesses and customers engage online. They offer live chat, appointment scheduling, form builders, and click to call features. The company now has 15 employees, a recent investment of 3.2 million dollars, and a positive outlook on growing the business.

This was our first ever interview using Skype which allowed us to conduct a live interview with a business thousands of miles from us. I recorded the interview using a program named Call Recorder.  It was very easy to use, but I’m still working with settings to help improve the quality of the actual recording. If you have experience in recording Skype video calls I’d love to get advice on how to increase the video quality. Enjoy watching!

Entrepreneur Interview with RoughStock Distillery in Bozeman, Montana

This past week I had the opportunity to interview the co-founder of RoughStock Distillery in Bozeman, Montana. Bryan Schultz and his wife Kari started the whiskey distillery in 2008 and have since been working hard to grow the business. RoughStock Distillery is the only legal whiskey distillery in the state of Montana. It is a craft distillery that still does everything by hand. They started out in a small warehouse on the east side of Bozeman, MT and eventually moved to a large facility on highway 191 between Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana. Bryan and Kari are both extremely passionate about their company and about growing the business.

The two entrepreneurs pooled their personal money together to start the venture and have since Continue reading
